ELAGABALUS (A.D. 218-222), denarius, Rome mint, issued 221, obv. laureate bust to right, rev. Sol standing to left with flying cloak, raising r. hand, star in field to l., (RIC 38, C.182, S.-). Uneven edge, off centre on reverse, otherwise extremely fine.
