ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), denarius, Rome mint, issued 218-222, obv. laureate bust to r., rev. INVICTVS SACERDOS AVG, Elagabalus standing to l., sacrificing over tripod, star in field, (RIC 88, S.2100). Uneven colour, otherwise nearly extremely fine/very fine and scarce.
