GORDIAN III (A.D. 238-244), antoninianus, issued 221, obv. radiate bust to right, rev. Sol standing to left with flying cloak, raising r. hand, star in field to l., (RIC 147, C.160, S.2442). Delightful red and blue tone, good extremely fine/extremely fine.
