JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527-565), follis, Antioch mint, issued after 528, obv. diademed draped bust to r., rev. M, stars, and cross above, and Officinae effaced, over mintmark Theup, (S.216, D.O.210a). Slightly double struck on obverse, light brown patina, otherwise good fine.

Antioch was destroyed by a great earthquake on 29th November 528, after which it was renamed Theoupolis.
