CONSTANS II, (A.D. 641-668), Carthage mint, half follis, obv. Constans crowned bust facing, rev. cross X X, either side, in exergue, KRTS, (S.1057, D.O.138, BMC 311). Fine/very fine and scarce.
Originally thought to be an issue of Heraclonas (641), but modern scholarship suggests it belongs to Constans II (Sear p.199).
