MICHAEL II, (A.D. 820-829), Constantinople mint, large flan follis, obv. Michael and Theophilus busts facing, legend around, rev. M, XXX to l., NNN to r., theta below, (S.1642, D.O. 9). Corrosion on obverse and reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
