JUSTINIAN I, (A.D. 527-565), gold solidus, issue of 545-565, Constantinople mint, obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing holding cross on globe, rev. Angel standing facing holding long cross and cross on globe, (S.140, DOC 9d). Slightly crinkled and weak in places, otherwise good fine.
