LADAKH, Gulub Singh as suzerain of Ladakh (VS 1903-1913, A.D. 1846-1856), silver Ja'u, issued from 1842-1850, obv. in Tibetan script, rev. dot on blade of katar (2 variants), another 8 on side of katar blade and legend in Arabic script, (KM. 7.1, 7.2, 7.3). Very fine and scarce. (3)
This issue of Ladakh under Dogra domination was in the name of Gulab Singh, and was struck with varying degrees of blundered legends and size.
