MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-317 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.17 grams), Babylon mint, issued c.323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right, with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, to right FILIPPOU, below [B]ASILEWS, to left under arm M, below throne LU, (S.6749; Price P181, M.P99, BMC P181 a-f). Flan with centred obverse, attractive very fine.
