PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Orodes I, (c. 90-80 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.10 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. head of Orodes to left with short pointed beard, wearing a tiara with eight pointed star on tiara, rev. archer seated to right, crude Greek legend around at all sides, (S.7390; Sellwood 31.6). Extremely fine an attractive well struck issue and rare thus for this type.
