BALBINUS, (A.D. 238), AE sestertius, issued A.D. 238, Rome mint, obv. laureate bust to right of Balbinus, around IMP CAES D CAEL BALBINVS AVG, rev. liberalitas standing to left, globe at feet, holding cornucopiae and abacus, around LIBERALITAS AVGVSTORVM, (cf.S.2404, RIC 15, C.11). Scratches on the obverse on the head, some old tooling in reverse field, however a well centred, good fine/very fine and rare coin.
