DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), antoninianus, Ticinum mint, issued A.D.288, obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right, rev. HERCVLI CONSERVAT, in exergue weak SXXIT, Hercules, standing to right, leaning on club, holding lion skin, (S.3512, RIC 215). Attractive light brown colour, extremely fine.
