BARODA, Khande Rao (A.H. 1273-1287, A.D. 1856-1870), in the name of Commander of the Sovereign Band, Baroda mint, silver half rupees, scimitar turning right, year 1274 (1857-8); 1277 (1860-1); 1279 (1862-3); silver quarter rupees 1282 (1865-6); another not dated; silver eighth rupee not dated; (KM. Y.9, 10, 11). Fine - good very fine. (6)
Ex Wodak Collection for undated fractions, 1282 quarter rupee from Hagley Collection, others from Spink Australia sale 8 (lot 64 and 65 part), year 1274 from Stan Goron Collection and Robert Senior England, by private treaty.
