CHHATARPUR, in the name of Shah Alam II (AH 1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), silver rupee, regal year 8, 11.3 grams, this issue with triscul as well as flower symbols on obverse, probably struck in early 19th century A.D., (KM. 15). Very fine and an unpublished date.

Ex Stan Goron Collection with his ticket and Robert Senior by private treaty. $$ Chhatarpur in Bundelkhand which came under British protection from 1822. It started to strike coinage from about 1816 and continued until 1882.
