GWALIOR, Baija Rao as regent, (A.H. 1243-1249, A.D. 1827-1833), in name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1209, A.D. 1759-1806), Ujjain mint, silver rupees, year 73 (1830-1), Jankoji Rao (A.H. 1243-1259, A.D. 1827-1843), year 76 (1833-4); year 85 (1843); Jayagi Rao (A.H. 1259-1304, A.D. 1843-1886), year 9X; year 100 (1856-7); silver quarter rupee year 95 (1851-2); regal years of British `Raj' year 4 (1862); year 10 (1868); all with characteristic sword on obverse, (KM. 227, 230, 235, 237, 238). Very fine or better, the quarter rupee and rupees of years 76, 4 and 10 unpublished, these rare. (8)
