NORTH THAMES, Inscribed issue, Trinovantes, Tasciovanus (c.25-10 B.C.), gold quarter stater, first coinage of celticized style, issued 25-20 B.C., (1.38 grams), obv. crossed wreaths TASC in angles, rev. celticized horse to right, TASC below horse, (S.163, Van A. 1692-1 [notes as extremely rare]). Good very fine/very fine and extremely rare.
