JAHANDAR SHAH, (A.H. 1124), (A.D.1712), round Gold mohur, (10.93 grams), struck at Shahjahanabad Dar-ul-Khilafat (Delhi), mint, issued A.H. 1124 (A.D. 1712), Regnal year 1, obv. Jahandar name at top, date to centre right, rev. mint name at top, Regnal year centre left, (BMC 880, Nagpur 239, Panjab Museum Lahore 2099, Lucknow 3542-3, KM. SAC 368.6). Slightly bent with minor crack in centre of obverse, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
Ex. Robert Senior England, by private treaty. $$ The full couplet on this coin is 'struck coin in the horizons like the sun and moon, the victorious Jahandar Shah, Defender of the Faith'.
