MADRAS PRESIDENCY, European Style Coinages, Second Issue, 1808, contemporary forgeries, silver double fanam, obv. circular garter with legend in English DOBLE FANM (sic!), rev. ribbon separated by star, crude native legends in Tamil and Teluga, square buckle, another silver fanam, as regular issue, crude style no buckle, (cf.Pr. 184, 188, cf.KM. 349-350). Nearly very fine and very rare. (2)
