BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Farrukhabad mint, 45 san copper Coinage, 1816, double pice, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), with frozen Regnal Year 45, from dies prepared at Calcutta, rev. value in three languages Bengali, Persian and Hindi, (Pr. 335, KM.63 unpriced). Nearly very fine with even brown colour, excessively rare.
Ex. Wodak Collection. $$ The Pridmore specimen records the only other specimen noted that has been sold in recent years it (lot 665) realised Å“240, it is also the specimen illustrated in his book.
