BOSPORUS, Kingdom of, Eupator (A.D. 154-172), with Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), electrum (of good quality gold), stater, issued year 456 = A.D. 159-160, (7.78 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Eupator, around BASILEWS EVPATOROS, rev. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, beneath SNV (456), (cf.S.5470, Frolova (BAR 56), Pl.25,7 same dies). Very fine and scarce.
