CONSTANS II, (A.D. 641-668), gold solidus, issued at Constantinople mint, (4.28 grams), Officinae Theta, obv. facing busts of both rulers Constans with long beard and Constantine IV no beard, each wearing chalmys and crown, around DN CONSTA, rev. cross potent on three steps between Heraclius and Tiberius, around VICTORIA AVGGO, in exergue CONOB, (S.964, DOC 30). Extremely fine.
