THRACE, Abdera, (386/5-375 B.C.), silver drachm or tetrobol (2.605 grams), obv. griffin prancing to left, traces of ABD behind, rev. kantharos within outlined square, around on three sides, EPIRO MNHM ONOS, for magistrate Hiromnemon, (cf.S.1549, May 446 [these dies A300, P353; 19 known specimens]). Some porosity on obverse, otherwise very fine and rare.
