PELOPONNESUS, Lakonia, Lakedaimon (Sparta), (43-31 B.C.), AE 21, (5.13 grams), obv. bust of Lakedaimon to right, rev. eagle to left, L A above, monograms to left and right below, (cf.S.2839, Grunauer Pl.12, No.107 same dies). Nearly fine with green patina and very rare.
