BITHYNIA, Kingdom of, Prusias II, (183-149 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.86 grams), obv. winged diademed head of Prusias II to right, rev. Zeus standing to left crowning king's name PROVSIOV, eagle on thunderbolt on left, holding sceptre, on right, BASILEOS to left monogram ME, (S.7265, SNG Von Aulock 253, BMC 2 [p.210]). Slightly off centre, otherwise good very fine, and rare.
