SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius II, second reign, (129-125 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.26 grams), Tyre mint, issued 156-155 B.C., obv. diademed head of Demetrius II to right, rev. eagle standing to left on prow with palm branch over shoulder, club before, monograms before behind and letter below, around BASILEOS DHMHTRIOV, (S.7105, Newell NNM 73, No.159). Bright silver metal, extremely fine and scarce.
