PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (c.128-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.05 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. bearded bust to left in diadem, monograms behind head, rev. archer seated right on omphalos, four line inscription, monograms in exergue and behind archer, (cf.S.7368, Sellwood 24.20, Shore 75). Porous surface, otherwise nearly extremely fine, very scarce.
