Herrenius (c.108-107 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (2.67 grams), obv. diademed head of Pietas to right, S. before, PIETAS behind, rev. one of the Catanaean brothers running right, bearing his father on his shoulders on left M HERENNI downwards, (S.237, Cr.308/1a, Syd.567). Light weight, with dark toning, otherwise very fine.
