MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), AE antoninianus, London mint, an issue struck by Carausius, obv. radiate bust of Maximianus to right, around IMP C MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around PAX AVGGG, Pax standing to left, holding branch and sceptre, S F in field, in exergue MLXXI, (cf.S.3619, RIC -, C.-). Nearly very fine and very rare.
