CAROLVS IX D G FRAN COR REX, laureate bust to left, 1561 below, rev. around REMIS SACRA AC SALVTA IS MAII 1561, bird coming out of clouds with round flask, (Jones Vol. I, on p.111, illustrated). Minor edge knock, otherwise extremely fine.
