EDWARD VI (1547-1553). Fine silver issue, 1551-3, 1551, mm.y 1551 (S.2478). Spread flan well struck with even wear and toning. Very fine.
Ex Spink Australia privately, July 1980. The first silver crowns were introduced to England with this reformed coinage of fine silver towards the end of the young king's reign.
