IRELAND, Charles I, (1625-1649), silver halfcrown, issue of 1642, 'The great Rebellion - Inchiquin Issue', irregular polygon stamped with the weight 9 dwtt,16 gr. in circle on both sides, (11.35 grams), (S.6533). Good fine and very rare.

This the coinage of the Lord Justices was issued during the great rebellion and was stamped from cut pieces of flattened plate.
