GERMANY, W.W.II, tax promissory notes, one hundred Reichsmark, April 1940, five hundred Reichsmark, December 1939. Extremely fine. (2). These notes with certain conditions could be used as legal tender, the Government u sed them to pay for its supplies (up to 40% of invoice). The notes could also be used in a similar manner in every day business transactions.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price.
