U.S.A., ten thousand dollars gold certificate, series of 1900, Federal Reserve Board, M59605*. Perforated by U.S. Treasury 9.8.16 (P.268b). Extremely fine and very scarce. During a fire at a treasury storage area in 1935 a number of cancelled notes were thrown into the street and werre picked up by passers-by. (Pick)
