PROMISSORY NOTE OF G. Blaxcell, Sydney Marchf 20th 1812, two hundred and fifty pound payable to Captain Joseph James on or before 24th September 1812. Accompanied by a printed form of a notice of protest printed by George Howe, Sydney 1813, signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate of the Territory of New South Wales showing that Blaxcell had not paid by 16th August 1813. Stained on right hand sidce, good fine and extremely rare.
