This special issue commemorates the 100th anniversary of the British Astronomical Association, NSW Branch 1895-1995. John Tebbut who appears on our $100 note was a founder and first president of this association which began in Sydney in 1895. The proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated by Note Printing Australia to the British Astronomical Association, Sydney Branch and the auctioneers commission to the Numismatic Association of Australia.
