TEN POUNDS, Cerutty-Collins (1918), W671851, mauve green and mauve on back, black serial numbers with prefix letter W, (R.52a, Vort-Ronald 45a notes p.197 two notes known including this note which is cited, Nicholson 11aA). Folds and creases, otherwise good fine and excessively rare, being one of two known.
This type was not present in the other great sales viz. the Deutsher (1977), Vort-Ronald (1988) or Williams Collections (1991).
