PHRYGIA, Apameia, (after 133 B.C.), AE 23, obv. helmeted bust of Athena to right, rev. eagle alighting upon meander pattern between caps of the dioscuri, APAMEWN traces above, below ABTIFWN over MENEKLEOVS, (BMC 46, SNG Cop.164, cf.S.5120). Nearly extremely fine with attractive dark patina.
