EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.14 grams), Kition (Cyprus) mint, obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, D behind, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front ST over monogram P(Pi)A, around BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, (cf.S.7773, Sv. 368, SNG Cop 87). With punch marks (banker's marks), otherwise nearly very fine.
