PESCENNIUS NIGER, (A.D. 193-194), silver denarius, issued 193, at Antioch mint, obv. head of Percennius Niger to right, around [IMP] CAES C PESC NIGER IVST AVG, rev. Salus standing right, by altar, feeding snake held in her arms, traces around SALVTI AVG, (RIC 75a (R3), C.66, not in BMC, S.-). Gash across face, otherwise good - very good and extremely rare.
