CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 201-210, Rome mint, obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and rod, around LIBERTAS AVG, (BMC 511 [Severus], RIC 161, C.143, S.1921). Large flan with light attractive tone, extremely fine.
