GORDIAN III (A.D. 238-244), AE as, issued 243, Rome mint, obv. laureate bust to right, rev. Gordian standing to r., with spear and globe, (RIC 307b, cf.S.2515). Cleaned with some surface porosity, small flan crack, otherwise nearly extremely fine.
