CONSTANTIUS II, (A.D. 337-361), AE folles, issued 327-329 as Caesar, Heraclea mint, obv. laureate bust to left draped and cuirassed of Constantius, around FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, rev. camp gate two turrets, star above, eight stone layers, around PROVIDEN TIAE CAESS, .SMHA. in exergue, dot in left field, (cf.RIC 97, cf.S.3984). Nearly extremely fine and an extremely rare, apparently and unpublished mint reading variant.
