HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, ION/0N/GLO/VCE, Gloucester mint, (S.1363, N.987). Good very fine, with attractive grey tone and very scarce.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 75 (row 10 no 1), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
