HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, RIC/ARD/ON h/ERE, Hereford mint, (S.1363, N.987). Good very fine, with attractive grey tone and rare.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 75 (row 10 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1202 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
