HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, RIC/ARD/ON h/ERE, Hereford mint, (S.1363, N.987). Slightly off centre on the reverse, otherwise very fine and rare.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 76 (row 8 no 1), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
