HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 5b, issued 1251-1272, NIC/OLE/ON L/VND, London mint, (S.1368, N.992/2). Extremely fine, with high reverse rim and attractive blue gold tone.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated from the supplemenary plate 78 (row 6 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1206 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
