HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, NIC/OLE/ON S/ROS, Shrewsbury mint, (S.1364, N.988). Flaw on edge, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket and illustrated on supplementary plate 78 (row 1 no 4), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1204 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
