HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3a, issued 1248-1250, NIC/OLE/ON W/INC, Winchester mint, (S.1362, N.986). About as struck, extremely fine and very scarce in this condition.
Ex. Richard Cyril Lockett collection and illustrated on supplementary plate 76 (row 4 no 2), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
