CHARLES II, hammered coinage, 1660-2, first issue without mark of value, shilling by Thomas Simon (S.3308). A magnificent specimen beautifully struck and clearly showing all detail of Simon's masterful work, attractive grey toned good extremely fine or practically mint state, very rare in this condition and the first known. $ Ex Lord Hastings, Brice, Montagu and Dr. Carter Collections.
