HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), gold aureus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-128, (7.2 grams), obv. bare headed bust of Hadrian to right, draped and cuirassed, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around COS III, Hadrian on horse pacing to right, raising right hand. (cf.S.1072, RIC 186, BMC -). Very fine/ good very fine and rare.
